A good fit typically means you feel heard, comfortable, and optimistic about improvement with treatment. You’ll get a sense during your consultation call. If we are not a good fit, we will certainly help you find someone else who is better suited for you. No pressure.
You’ll also have opportunities to share feedback with your provider throughout treatment. An open, honest relationship is crucial for your success.

The first session, or “intake”, includes talking about your concerns and identifying what you want out of treatment. Next, you’ll learn the science behind your struggles, which informs how we’ll tackle them. You’ll receive different therapy options and we’ll go at your own pace. This should be an “Aha!” moment that empowers you to try something different.

Working with a highly trained provider can increase your odds of getting better, faster. This usually happens within 12-16 weeks, depending on your symptoms and goals. Most people see results when they can commit to weekly or every-other-week. This has to do with momentum between sessions and accountability to apply new skills. As you get better, you may opt to space out sessions or request infrequent “booster” sessions.

Together, we will look at your life. Are your anxiety scores lower? Is your body more at peace? Are you doing the things that bring value to your life? Are you able to make space for tough thoughts and feelings? These are things we will track throughout therapy and course-correct if things aren’t going as planned.
